Pre-Conference Session

Staff Wellness Pre-Con

This Wellness Pre-Conference is designed to provide a restorative, skill-building experience focused on burnout recovery, emotional resilience, and sustainable leadership for TRIO and grant-funded education professionals. Participants will learn how to utilize mindfulness-based interventions and personal wellness techniques to recognize and recover from burnout and other stressors in a quickly changing environment.

Jonathan Braack is a change-leadership consultant and higher education administrator dedicated to inclusion, emotional resilience, and sustainable leadership. He currently serves as Director of the Center for Accessibility, Leadership, and Innovation at Idaho State University, where his work centers on wellness, accessibility, and organizational development.

With experience as a superintendent, principal, and program director, Jonathan supports education and TRIO professionals in addressing burnout, complex trauma, and organizational stress through evidence-based, trauma-informed, and mindfulness-informed practices. A seasoned speaker and co-founder of Experts in Education, he presents nationally on emotional resilience, shared leadership, and building healthy, purpose-driven organizational cultures.

Britney Taylor Braack is an award-winning Speech-Language Pathologist and national trainer specializing in emotional resilience, trauma-informed practices, and healthy brain development. With over 16 years of experience across educational and medical settings, she is a recognized advocate for nurturing and protecting children’s emotional and communication development. She is the recipient of the Bill Jenson Special Education Related Service Provider of the Year from the Utah Council for Children with Behavior Disorders.

Britney has served as a clinical supervisor for graduate students at Idaho State University, Utah State University, and the University of Utah, and has delivered statewide professional development in partnership with the Utah Professional Development Network and Utah State Board of Education. As a co-founder of Experts in Education, she trains education and private-sector leaders in emotional cultural health and resilience. Britney holds two bachelor’s degrees, a master’s degree in Communication Disorders, and a master certification in Administration and Supervision.

The IATP Conference Planning Committee has reserved a room block at the Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Pocatello.

Fairfield Inn is offering IATP Conference attendees complimentary transportation to and from the Pocatello Regional Airport. Please notify the hotel at least 24 hours in advance if you will require transportation.

Gala and Silent Auction

Join us on Tuesday, April 7th at 6:00pm for the annual IATP Gala and Silent Auction! We will have many amazing items up for auction this year. 

We extend a special thank you to all of our Silent Auction donors, be sure to check out (and bid on!) their items at the Gala! All proceeds from the auction go towards scholarships for TRIO students.
